After everything Scarlet has endured, she must now face a new hardship. Staying sane has never been so crucial. Neither has coming up with a plan. If she’s to get her life back, she needs to make sure she does everything the exact right way—there will be no room for mistakes. If she can endure, if she can plot quietly, she might just make it out with her life.
Grym has spent the months since the battle forbidden to leave the Underworld. His father has assured him things are being handled—his people need him more now than ever, and he’s been ordered to help them. And so he throws himself into repairing the damage left after the Battle of Perdition. It’s all he can do to stop himself losing his mind as time slips through his fingers.
